Garlic Bread

So garlic bread is a pretty simple recipe. But I was wondering if anyone does things differently, cause I'd love to know.

I just slice up some nice, crusty bread. Then I spread melted butter, and either rub a clove of garlic on it, or sprinkle it with garlic powder. Then I top it with a pinch of shredded mozzarella cheese and bake till its bubbly. YUM!

Any variations/advice is welcomed!

  1. my nand mashed up some garlic cloves real well with a mortar and pestle. i dont have that so i woulda used a garlic press or hand grater. she added olive oil, parm, salt, pepper, and i think italian seasonings to taste and spread that on the crusty bread slices and baked. it was suuper garlicy but yummy!
